Captan is a multi-purpose fungicide. It's sold as a wettable powder concentrate to be used on ornamentals and fruit. Captan is known for its control of certain fungus diseases of fruits, ornamentals and as a soil treatment for the control of damping-off diseases. Unlike many other fungicides Captan has never indicated a disease resistant problem!
